Swami Enoch Dasa Giri
David (known affectionately as, Dasa, to his students) is an inspirational teacher who shares the living tradition of yoga with warmth, humor, and sincerity. He is a direct disciple of Goswami Kriyananda and carries the flame of the Kriya lineage brought to this country by Paramahansa Yogananda. David has devoted himself to the study and practice of the Kriya tradition for over 40 years. His life is dedicated to helping those that wish to open their minds to deeper knowledge, their hearts to greater kindness, and their lives to meaningful service.
David owns the Blind Faith Cafe in Evanston IL and was a founding partner of the Evanston School of Yoga Studies. In 1998 David was ordained into the yogic priesthood, where he received the title Swami Enoch Dasa Giri. Through his work as an ordained priest, teacher, professional astrologer, spouse, parent and restaurateur, he has first-hand understanding of the joys and challenges of being a householder on the spiritual path.

Claire Villarreal PhD
Claire Villarreal has been wondering about the nature of reality most of her life and practicing various forms of Buddhism since 1997. She’s meditated her way around India, Nepal, and Thailand, with pilgrimages to Tibet. She completed a PhD on Tibetan Buddhism and contemplative ways of knowing in 2015 at Rice University, worked for Dawn Mountain Center for Tibetan Buddhism, and is now a digital nomad and aspiring meditation instructor.
